Pressurized Tank Manufacturing

The stainless steel tank is manufactured by hand from high grade SUS304. Welded from well experienced engineers, every tank is tested with a test pressure of 5 bar. Well insulated, the tank keeps the hot water for several days.

HIGH ENERGY YIELD

The Heat Pipe Principle

Different to common vacuum pipes where the water is heated directly inside the inner tube, heat pipes use a non-toxic liquid vapour inside a copper pipe.

Inside the evacuated glass tube (vacuum tube) the heat is absorbed by an aluminium fin which conducts the heat to the heat pipe. The hot vapour inside the heat pipe rises to the top of the heat pipe; the condenser. After the heat is transmitted to the water in the manifold, the vapour cools down, liquefies and returns to the bottom of the heat pipe to repeat the cycle.


There is no direct connection between the water and the heat pipe. The manifold is a closed unit, no water can leak. Therefore the system can withstand pressure in case the circulation would stop and the water may vaporize to steam. The stagnation temperature of a heat pipe is up to 240°C.
